A Musical Gift from Concordia

As we close out this extraordinarily unusual year, we are feeling ready for some fresh beginnings. With that in mind, Concordia would like to invite you to watch a premiere of a very special concert in New Year’s Day from the comfort of your home.
Recently filmed at Nakashima Woodworks Studio the concert features artistic director and cellist Michelle Djokic, along with violinist Alexi Kenney, performing a musical program which beautifully reflects the serenity and profound design aspects of the Nakashima art studio. Works by Thomas Morley, Pēteris Vasks, John Corigliano, J.S. Bach, Zoltán Kodály, Enescu, and Glière will be performed.
The video recording will be available on our website starting at 1:00 pm, New Year’s Day. So find a quiet moment in your day, get cozy, settle in and enjoy bringing in the new year with the magical sounds of Concordia.
