Thank you to all that attended our November symposium Legacy in Wood: Preserving the Nakashima Family House. We had a wonderful day learning about and sharing the recent collaborative work on the Nakashima Family Home, a National Historic Landmark recognized for its innovative design and craftsmanship.
We would like to thank our expert presenters and the work they contributed to this project, including representatives from the University of Pennsylvania Center for Architectural Conservation, the Stuart Weitzman School of Design Department of Historic Preservation, and the Raymond Farm Center for Living Arts and Design. This event also would not have been possible without support from generous sponsors and local vendors.
For those unable to attend, we have recorded the presentations. View the talks about the construction of the Nakashima Family Home, the historic context of the House, and future preservation goals at the link below.
